Jeremiah Aaron Taub is the Head of the Israel and Judaica Section in the Asian and Middle Eastern Division of the Library of Congress and the President of AJL’s Research, Archives, and Special Libraries (RAS) Division. He has served as the President of the Capital Area Chapter of AJL (AJL/CAC) and the Chairperson of AJL’s RAS Cataloging Committee, the Fanny Goldstein Merit Award Committee, and the AJL Jewish Fiction Award Committee. Under the name Yermiyahu Ahron Taub, he is the author of two books of fiction and six books of poetry and the translator or co-translator of four volumes from the Yiddish.
