A formerly religious conservative (not politically conservative) Jew. He grew up on Long Island, attending a fully egalitarian synagogue and learned how to chant Torah from his mother. While he is no longer religious, he still knows the difference between Kiddush and Kaddish. Eytan came out a little later in life, after college. In addition to attaining an MLS degree, Eytan has also achieved the rank of 4th degree black belt in a mixed martial arts system. Eytan spends his time on social media sharing books and teaching others about Judaism and antisemitism.
